Organising a competition means constantly making choices. As soon as the programme is devised, a jury convenes, the pace of the recitals is set, the venue is chosen... the questions are numerous and thorny!

And the painful task of selecting the candidates, so many and so talented, as every year, want to take part in the competition. We have shortlisted 10 quartets from 22 applications received to come to Lyon from 23 to 26 April to perform in public and in front of the jury.

 

This is a unique opportunity to hear a whole generation of artists.
